Every country in the world is facing the same challenges in the 21st Century.

Food Supply Pressure
Increasing world population with limited production output

Depleting Natural Resources
Water supply, fossil fuels and availability of arable land

Climate Change

Energy Supply

As the world tries to find solutions to climate change, there is an increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions and end the reliance on fossil fuels to generate energy. This poses the greatest challenge for industry. It is through a collaborative approach to research and development that will produce financially viable outcomes.

Biolectric grew out of a research joint venture between Curtin University of Technology, CSIRO and an industry leader in Transformer diagnostics. The research undertaken by this joint venture sought to formulate an environmentally-friendly, renewable oil that would reduce the power generation sector's reliance on mineral oil. During the research journey, other opportunities were identified that would assist the power generation sector to achieve reductions in carbon emissions economically.

Biolectric is committed to achieving compatibility between economic development and maintenance of the environment. We seek to ensure that throughout all phases of our activities, we can reduce our carbon footprint and the footprints of our clients. Our products and systems aim to provide industry with solutions to the environmental impact of their operations.
