BioLectric is proud to be associated with CO2Algae

Algae and the Future
To date there has been significant investment into developing carbon mitigation alternatives but there have been hurdles to producing a viable, risk free alternative that few have overcome. The world is entering an era where several factors are aligned to promote the use of algae as a viable alternative for the dual purpose of mitigation of greenhouse emissions and the production of next generation of biofuels.

The following characteristics of Algae offer a sustainable solution;

Algae can capture and convert CO2 into biomass at a rate higher than any land based plants.

Algae stores significant volumes of carbon that can be converted into numerous other products

Algae can be cultivated on marginal land utilising poor quality water

Algae energy systems have the ability to address all of the challenges the world is facing in addressing climate change. Air systems can domestically produce renewable fuel and recycle carbon in a manner that s affordable and sustainable.

The CO2 Algae System
Our system utilises an automated control system which will allow remote monitoring and control. With the increasing investment in the research and development of producing commercially viable algae energy system, it is generally agreed that a system must address some key elements.
